Really love these posts laying it out. Even if one isn't going short episodic fiction, this is insanely helpful for long series (like Game of Thrones, Kushiel, LOTR, etc.)
Nice graphic representation. I have the Monster of the week stories down, it's getting the A and B storylines in that'll give me fits until I figure it out.I understand the concept, but it's the execution that I'm working on.
Thanks, guys. Yeah, working out the B storylines can be difficult, especially if you're working out ways to make them tie to the A Story or play a major role in a C Story.
I'm the opposite. I got the A story, B story and the Central Situation. It's the C stories I have to work out.
